Information for Sponsoring Guild Members
Broward Quilt Expo is a collaboration between six quilt guilds in Broward County, Florida. Our volunteer board and our guild members all work hard to make every show special.
The information on this page is intended for members of the six sponsoring guilds.
Each of the six guilds has a contact person on the BQE board. If you have any questions or feedback about the show, please contact us by reaching out to your guild's contact, or by using the contact form here on our website.
For the 2017 show, we cut our costs and saved some trees by sending our show information packet out to guild members by email rather than snail mail. You can download a copy of the packet here.
At every BQE show, booth space is set aside especially for selling our guild members' hand-made, quilt-related items, or sewing related accessories. The only caveat is that your items cannot compete with those that our Marketplace vendors are selling. You can sell quilt-related items such as checkbook covers, placemats, runners, quilt tops, UFOs, apparel, jewelry, sewing accessories, OTT light carriers, and even antique fabrics and quilts. Our goal is to offer you a venue to sell your items while not encroaching on what our vendors have brought to sell.
If you want to receive more information about the arrangements and fees for selling your quilt-related items on a consignment basis at our BQE-tique booth, please contact your guild rep (see above), or contact the BQE-tique Chairperson by using our website contact form.
Please note only members in good standing of the six sponsoring guilds are eligible to sell items in the BQE-tique.

Mini Quilt Auction
The mini quilt auction is a highlight of every BQE, and is a great fundraiser for all of the sponsoring guilds.
If you are making a mini quilt for your guild's auction, please download this form and hand it in with your quilt to your guild auction coordinator.
